July 16 - 17    38th Annual Bud Magness Memorial Gospel Quartet Singing -Gospel singing groups from around the state gather to sing southern gospel music in classic four part harmony. Open air. Seating available, but lawn chairs are welcome. July 31  -   24th  Annual World Championship Cardboard Boat Race  - Races begin at 10 AM with youth and adult divisions.  Vie for the “Pride of the Fleet” award or the notorious “Titanic Award”, battle it out in a Tug of War contest, the kids dig for Treasures, Sandsculpting contest or enter the volleyball tournament.  Visitors can stuff themselves in the World Championship Watermelon Eating Contest.  However, nothing is over until the Cardboard Boat Demolition Derby.  For a boat application visit WCCBBR page on our website www.heber-springs.com or call  501-362-2444.

September 11-41st Annual Greers Ferry Lake & Little Red River Shoreline Cleanup. Volunteers meet at the commercial marinas and the National Fish Hatchery early Saturday morning to pick up trash along designated areas of the shoreline.   A picnic lunch and entertainment is provided for those who participate in the cleanup.For more information visit their website at http://www.greersferrylake.org or call 888-490-4357.

December 4 -  Light Up The Park & Parade
Lighted Christmas parade begins at 6:00 PM and ends with Santa, and lights in Spring Park.  Snowflakes line Main Street, 500 luminaries will glow throughout the park and around the lighted Historical Cleburne County Courthouse.
